I've been surfing with Lombok Surf School for the past two years, and it's been a fantastic experience. Ze Luis and the team offer both beginner and intermediate classes, which was perfect for me as I progressed. Unlike many other schools that only focus on beginners, they really tailor the lessons to your skill level, helping you improve faster. The instructors are incredibly friendly and supportive, making every session enjoyable. For anyone looking to learn or advance their surfing in Caparica, I'd highly recommend them!

I've been going to Lombok Surf School with Ze Luis for five years now, and it's been a wonderful experience. When I started, I had never even been in the water to surf, but thanks to their guidance, my surfing skills have improved a lot. Even though I'm not there every day, I've become more independent and have even gone on surf trips. They've taught me how to choose the right board and read the ocean conditions. There's a great community vibe; we often plan surf sessions and trips together with other students from the school. From the beginning, I've always felt safe and confident because of Ze's support—he really helped me enjoy the fun side of surfing while focusing on safety and overcoming challenges!

I've been working with Tiago at TIAGO PIRES SURF SCHOOL for about a year, attending surf coaching sessions 3 to 4 times a month. I initially sought their service to improve my surfing techniques and get guidance on pre- and post-surf exercises. Since starting, I've seen significant improvement not only in my technical skills, thanks to video analysis sessions with Marco, but also in my overall performance due to better support before and after surfing. While group lessons are different from the personalized video coaching, they were still supportive and made me feel included. The equipment recommended by the school has been top-notch and perfectly suited for my level. The school's environment feels cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who keep everything clean and organized. Communication is key here—they always keep me informed about any changes due to weather conditions, so I'm never left waiting around unnecessarily. Although the cost of coaching is somewhat high, I believe it's worth it given the quality of instruction and support provided!

I had a really good experience with Lombok Surf School, where I took both group and private surfing lessons. Ze Luis, who was my instructor from the start, is incredibly helpful and personable. He always made sure I was comfortable in the water and took the time to understand my experience level. His feedback was spot on, and he was always happy to help in any way he could. The school is conveniently located right on the beach and offers a variety of surfboards for different skill levels. They also provide skateboards for training and have great facilities like showers. The equipment, including wetsuits and boards, is top-notch quality—I never had any issues with it. Communication is excellent—they created a group chat to update us on wave conditions daily. Communication with Ze Luis was excellent as well; he's quick to respond about scheduling lessons, and he even helped me buy my first board. The lessons were thorough and often longer than expected because Ze puts so much effort into them. Everyone at the school is very kind; they even helped me when I got injured outside of class by stepping on a poisonous fish! Overall, it's a caring environment that goes above and beyond at an excellent price point.

I decided to try surfing this year and chose TIAGO PIRES SURF SCHOOL because it's quite famous here in Ericeira, and I had heard a lot about Tiago. Starting as a beginner, I've gained much more confidence thanks to their teaching. The school has the nicest environment among the ones I know; from the welcoming scent of a candle at the entrance to the well-maintained changing rooms and bathrooms, everything is top-notch. The surfboards and wetsuits are in great condition too. I attend group lessons with around five people, which allows for very personalized attention from instructors who are not only skilled surfers but also very attentive!

I've been going to TIAGO PIRES SURF SCHOOL for a year and a half, and I've seen a lot of improvement in my surfing. They offer three types of lessons: group, private, and video coaching. The instructors are excellent; you might have João or Marco depending on the location. As an intermediate surfer, I've found each lesson to be really good. The school has two locations—Fonte da Telha and Ericeira—which is convenient since I live in Lisbon. We choose the spot based on the best conditions, which makes for better lessons. The equipment is great, and they have fantastic facilities like changing rooms and showers, much better than other places I've tried before!
