I've been going to Prescription Pilates for over a year now, mainly at the São Bento studio, but occasionally I visit the Saldanha location. I'm there three times a week without fail and apparently hold the record for most classes completed in a year! The place is always spotless, which I appreciate. What really stands out is how the instructors tailor my workouts; they're tuned into my strengths and limitations, even remembering how much weight I can handle. Equipment-wise, everything's top-notch and well-maintained – no broken machines here. The classes aren't overcrowded either; there's enough space to be comfortable. And although there’s a 24-hour cancellation policy, they've been flexible with me if I need to cancel last-minute because I'm such a regular. Overall, it's been an excellent experience with Vanessa Motte at Prescription Pilates.

When I started with Andrea, I was dealing with a lot of health issues, including a nutrition problem that left me very thin. Pilates was our starting point to build strength without aggravating my knee injury. Andrea's studio is the epitome of cleanliness and she's always attentive, ensuring I have water and equipment ready. Her kindness was a beacon during my work burnout; her encouraging texts got me out of bed on tough days. Her approach to training is tailored perfectly to what I can handle, and it paid off—I got stronger and more flexible over time. It felt like she had an innate sense for my limits; she knew exactly when to push me or tell me to ease up before I even realized it myself. Andrea isn't just professional and punctual; she brings warmth and patience to every session, making the whole experience comfortable even when the exercises are challenging. She has good communication skills in English, which made things easier for me. Despite personal training being costly, working with Andrea was worth every penny. She became more than just a trainer—joining her for coffee after sessions showed how pleasant she truly is. Now that she's moved to Portugal, thanks to her influence and support, I find myself going solo at the gym—a huge step from not exercising in 10 years!

I've been taking private Pilates classes with Hugo for two years now and I'm really satisfied. His studio is always clean, hygienic, and has a welcoming atmosphere with music. When we started, Hugo assessed my experience level and continues to track my progress regularly, personalizing each session to fit my needs. Communication is a breeze; he speaks English well and uses WhatsApp for quick messages, plus he sends reminders the day before our classes. He's punctual but also flexible if I need to reschedule. Honestly, it's great value for money. Over time we've become friends – he embodies true Portuguese hospitality without ever trying to take advantage of you as a foreigner.

I've been training with Hugo for over a year and it's been great. His emphasis on mobility and flexibility has made a big difference for me, and his studio near Avenue de Liberdade is just beautiful. Hugo's also been incredibly supportive as I settled into the area; it helps that he speaks English fluently. He's a really good guy—professional, too. He always confirms appointments ahead of time, and if I ever have to cancel, he's super understanding about it. Plus, he's never late for our sessions, which I really appreciate.

Before joining Noa's Mat Pilates classes, I was into yoga, but it's only here that I started Pilates. The studio itself is spotlessly clean, feels brand new, tastefully designed and sterile. What really stands out is how Noa personalizes the experience; she pays close attention to everyone's individual limits and abilities. The studio is also very well-equipped with top-notch gear for our sessions. As for class size, it's perfect - intimate with no more than four participants which makes the workouts comfortable and enjoyable. And yes, the ambiance of the studio definitely elevates the whole exercise experience!

I've been taking private Pilates classes twice a week with Elise at The Good Burn, focusing on core strength, and I have to say everything has been excellent. As a real beginner, I appreciate how kind and patient Elise is. She really tailors the workouts to my needs and is such a welcoming trainer. Since starting with her, I feel like I've made real progress. Her studio is gorgeous – we use rebounders, weights, and floormats for our sessions. Elise is not only brilliant at what she does but also incredibly lovely and sensitive to different needs and levels of experience.
