I run a wedding and event planning business, and I wanted to organize a team-building activity for my team of eight women. We needed something we could all do together near our office, and I hoped for a keepsake to take home. I chose Maayan's workshop at Ceramica Cafe because it was open on Sundays. The space was well-organized, inviting, and made me feel safe parking nearby. It had just the right capacity with plenty of room for everyone, yet Maayan managed to give attention to all participants. She explained everything clearly—from techniques to paint usage—and provided the tools we needed while being available for any questions. She even offered us water and took our group photo if we wanted one. Maayan was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the session, and we're looking forward to coming back again personally!

I've been to Ceramica Cafe twice for pottery painting events and it was a great experience. It's a great space for having fun and getting creative without the pressure of it being a formal class. The studio is specifically designed for pottery painting; it's clean and well-maintained. Booking a slot through their website was straightforward, and Maayan was very nice throughout our visits. Overall, it's been an enjoyable experience each time!

I recently visited Ceramica Cafe, run by Maayan, and had a wonderful experience. The studio is beautiful, calming, and welcoming. It's great to walk in and have the freedom to pick pottery pieces to paint however you like. The event space was clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I love going there with my children; they always want to paint every piece of pottery! It's a family-friendly place that's also fun to visit with friends for a relaxing time together.

Why we created Locallista?

As expats, we understand how overwhelming it can be to settle into a new city, where even simple tasks become difficult without a network, complicated by language barriers and cultural differences. That’s why we created Locallista — a closed platform where expats connect with trusted service providers recommended by the community, ensuring clear communication in English or their native languages, making life easier.
