I've been working with Ana from Dog Factor since February [2022](ct+tel://2022) to help with my dog's desensitization and it's been an amazing journey. My dog had a lot of trauma, but thanks to Ana, she's no longer afraid of things that used to scare her. Ana is incredibly reliable and has won the complete trust of both our dog and us. She always provides activities for us to work on each week, which have made a world of difference. Our dog is like a completely different animal now - happier and more confident. Ana handles behavioral issues like a pro, and communication-wise, she's excellent; we even have a WhatsApp group for regular updates or questions, and she's responsive even during her vacation. I recommend her highly; she really is the best at what she does.

I adopted my dog last December when he was 6 months old and he was very reactive around other dogs. After doing some research, I found Carlos in January. We've had three individual training sessions and more than five or six group classes since then. Now I know how to assert control, get him to listen to a "no," and set boundaries, as well as calm him down around other people. The one-on-one sessions lasted about an hour each but the group classes in parks are even better; we all go for walks and do training for at least 1.5 hours. Everything is better now and I definitely recommend Carlos for anyone who has reactive dogs like mine!

I had the pleasure of working with Carlos a few years back and we've kept in touch ever since. Recently, I bought a Yorkshire Terrier and ran into quite a bit of trouble with her behavior. After just two training sessions with Carlos, the issues were resolved; it was impressively quick. Before Carlos stepped in, my dog wouldn't listen, had no respect for boundaries, and just seemed out of control. I'm not sure how he did it, but there hasn't been a need for further training—it's been over two years now. Also worth mentioning is that Carlos is extremely punctual; he has never kept me waiting.

I had a tough time with my 3-year-old dog's guarding issues, especially his aggression toward other dogs while on leash. Months later I got in touch with Carlos for help, and he immediately saw that my dog wasn't aggressive by nature. Over the course of 10 lessons, Carlos provided one-on-one training in various settings like the beach, park, and at my home. He really understood the root of the problem from day one. We even progressed to a group lesson where my dog learned to socialize with other dogs. Now, he's 4 years old and the behavior is almost completely gone thanks to Carlos's guidance.

I was at my wit's end with my rescue dog who had some serious behavior issues. He was afraid, and when he was afraid he also bit. I tried 2 dog trainers until I met Ana-- such a relief. Ana's approach was gentle yet effective; she communicated with my dog in a way that made him feel safe and relaxed. And helped me see that it's possible for him to be happy and well-adjusted. Ana is not like other trainers who can be too rigid, just applying theory. She took the time to come to our home, get immersed in our environment, and see firsthand what was affecting my dog daily. Our sessions started two years ago, initially every couple of weeks for about six months, gradually spacing out as we established routines. Thanks to her support (she’s always there when I need advice), I went from doubting if I could keep my rescue to being happy with. him and his progress. I'm truly grateful for Ana’s understanding nature and professionalism; she changed our lives for the better.

I brought my dog with me from Brazil, and she had issues with reactivity towards other dogs and anxiety. After doing some research, I decided to book an initial 2-hour session with Ana, followed by a package of 4-5 more sessions. From after the very first session, I could already see a noticeable difference in my dog’s behavior. Ana was great—she was patient, knowledgeable, and knew exactly how to handle my dog’s specific needs. Ana is great about communication too -- she still checks in to see how things are going. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and caring dog trainer
